• I finished the first draft of my long-overdue LLM fic for accioslash, the continuation of Thicker Than Water. Anyone want to beta? It's very very chan and mpreg (knocked-up 11yo Harry ftw).


• 2 out of 3 Mini-Commission spots got claimed, so unless the 3rd goes today, that'll be the only ones I offer for the holiday season.


• I've decided not to do Yuletide this year -- someone got my tiny fandom disqualified (if I'd known anyone would bother, I could have easily defended it, but since it didn't occur to me to check it's now too late), and I just don't have the heart to play after that.


• Which means I only have santas_lap to write this season, and that's it, since I'm also not doing nanowrimo. It hardly feels like the holiday at all!

I've finally finished the very last of my regular commissions (to be posted later), so it's time to open up my very first holiday Mini-Commissions sale. My regular commissions are closed now, so if you want art for the holidays, this is it!

My goal for these is to draw them this weekend and mail them next week (or whenever the check arrives, for those who are anti-Paypal).

Mini-Commissions:  3  1 spot open!

1. One to two characters, generally speaking (some threesomes may be allowable if you sweet-talk me).
2. No background, or simple things -- ask if you've got an idea and want to know if it fits!
3. 5x7, mailed to you with a HP-themed thank-you card.
4. Paypal to swtalmnd (at) gmail OR email me there for my mailing addy if you want to send a check.
5. If you want a gift for someone, then you can comment here to save your spot and we'll talk via email. You'll still get a thank-you card, even!

So a few weeks back I recced a new WIP by gatewaygirl, author of Blood Magic and many smuttier fics, entitled "The Confusion of Will and Desire." The fic is now done! So go on over there and read it! Here's what I said at the time:


The story is quite emotionally intense, but is full of wry humour as Harry attempts to figure things out like sexuality and Draco Malfoy. The interplay between him and Draco is just lovely, and something I miss when I'm not reading much fic! GG has done a wonderful job of showing us clear glimpses of Draco's complex character that Harry can't fathom at all, but the reader certainly can.
